standing stones in south Shropshire. This stone circle is in one of the many great open spaces you find in England thanks to the public footpaths established over the centuries. I think that the accessibility of the countryside is easy to take for granted.

Moor
If I’m feeling deep I like to aim for pictures that say something about the feel of a location. I hope this one says something. It is a lonely place yet mostly the scene is the result of farming, making it natural yet unnatural at the same time, hence the shifted tones of the image. Just off yet recognizable for what they ought to be. (I hope that makes sense)?

Another sunset
There’s something about the sun when it’s very low to the horizon. From this hill top location it was actually shining up into the branches. Cool.

tree #3
I chased this last ray of sun across a muddy field and just caught it here before it disappeared behind the hill.

Tree #2
A great day for dramatic light. One moment rain, then sun, then rain again. A reminder not to stay indoors just because it might be gray outside. We should get outside more often.
