A true storm at sea. Moving fast and with edges you could see. This was an unpromising stop on a bleak drive around the Normandy coast. I tend to think this image is fitting for the place.

Scooter in France.
The rough guide to France says that Clermont Ferrand is a dull post industrial city where Michelin tyres are made. I guess the rough guide is written pretty quickly and they try to say something about every where. Interestingly Cleremont Ferrand is also the home of Volvic mineral water and seems to be a neat little city. I think the moral here is don’t take other peoples word for things, just go and see for your self.

Mermaid quay
A gray concrete multi-story car park. You have to grab any chance to see things in a positive light (even in the dark).
